Nash Evans
CEO
Nash Evans was exposed to the oil & gas business from an early age. He spent time with his father on well locations as a child, and by the time he was in high school, he had advanced to assisting in the equipment yards. After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors’s in Business Management, he came to work for the family business. Since the time Nash starting working for the company, he has been involved in more than 45 different wells in multiple states. He plays a major role in deal structuring to maximize the financial benefits from both income and tax through private equity.
Shane Shepherd
President
Shane graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in finance and has been with Evans Energy since 2013. He has over 15 years of tenure in the oil and gas industry and 21 years of experience with rental property ownership/management. The oil and gas industry came naturally for Shane with his father starting his career at Arklatex oil and gas in the 1980s. His grandfather worked for Dresser Engineering and Warren Petroleum which was replaced by Gulf Oil and later Chevron. As head of business development, Shane has synergized his knowledge of both finance and real estate into a valuable resource for the Evans family and partners alike.
